Well, I think I'll just start otherwise I won't get any where. First thing I'd recommend is looking a the contrasts between Blogger and WordPress. I've looked at both and they both have great reasons for use. However one will fit you best. Unfortunately, If you pick WordPress I'm going to have to disown you...just kidding. I have used Blogger 99% of the time so I don't have much experience with the alternatives.
